The fascination of golf is hard to describe. Where does this fascination derive from? First of all, golf is a game. It appeals to the play instinct and the ambition, as you want to improve. Statistics prove that Schleswig-Holstein is a growing “golf-region”. On the area of Schleswig-Holstein are to-date approximately 60 golf-courses. Thus, Schleswig-Holstein has the highest frequency of golf courses in terms of population. Our region is an attractive all-season golf-holiday-and-short-break destination.
Over 15 golf courses in our region (within a one-hour´s-drive by car) wait for you to be played and discovered.
The Strengliner Mühle has in co-operation with the surrounding golf clubs a range of offers for you. And following a sportive round of golf you can find the needed relaxation and recreation in our wellness-area or by indulging in a delightful dinner in our wintergarden-restaurant.

| The golf course with an area of around 100 ha and its 15 water hazards arranged as biotopes is harmonically situated around the historic Wenslin megalithic tomb in the Holstein hedgerow landscape and lakeland. The longest fairways (champ gentlemen: 6,534 m Champ ladies 5793- SSS 74) in Northern Germany demand a precise game especially by aggressive players. |

| In Waldshagen you will find a beautifully situated 18-hole championship-course which can be well played on at light wind in spite of its difficulties. The island greens form appealing accents on the round. The practice-course with six holes is especially attractive for beginners. Everyone is able to and welcome to play without proficiency certificate after a short introduction by the golf instructor. |

| This course ( from july 2010 on a 18-hole-golf-course) offers everything a golf course needs. The course is run in regard to ecological aspects and offers optimal facilities for golfers. Beginners can swing the club when they feel like it on the driving range for a small fee. |

| Guests are offered a very varied course. Wide fairways change with park-like wooded areas, water hazards and well-placed bunkers make the course a challenge for players. At this course also less experienced players have their joy, since the holes are clearly laid out and thus the assessment of the play is not too difficult to see.The traditional Travemünder Golf Week provides an extensive range of open sweepstakes, but by the 27 tracks is always enough room for a private round. For practice use our spectacular driving range, which is directly related to their location above the Brodtener steep bank the most beautiful in Germany. Players with DGV-permission and current DGV-handicap can play as often as daily green fee. VcG players are also welcome. At the 6 - hole short course and the entire exercise facilities can also practice golf course without permission and without a club membership. |

| The public golf course Sülfeld lies within an appealing landscape formed by ice age terminal moraines which is traversed by old hedge banks. This course is the domicile of the golfclub Sülfeld e.V. – a club distinguished by its lively, attractive club life and an open and cordial togetherness. |
